To fight and conquer in all your battles is not supreme excellence; supreme excellence consists in breaking the enemy's resistance without fighting
NICE SURPRISES ALSO COME IN BIG PACKAGES
This week we have had the opportunity to stay in some amazing accomodation one of them being Le Chateau de Villers Chatel. Whilst about 2km out of Villers Chatel we could see this beautiful french villa, and I jokingly said to The Spunky Rooster is that our accomodation for the night? We both laughed and continued walking. Twenty minutes later following the trail on the GPS we find ourselves at the back gate of the aforementioned villa. Surprise Surprise the villa is actually home to a family and they kindly open it to pilgrims to stay for a donation.
As mentioned this leg of the trail has been monotonous and boring so this has allowed me a lot of head space time (time I spend talking to myself). I started thinking about the questions we get asked, and the number one question we get asked is, "So what is the plan?"
People ask us all the time......"So what’s the plan? Where are you going next? Although we always have a rough plan for the next 6-12 months it is never set in stone. Both the Spunky Rooster and I believe in the universe showing us what is next and we both have faith enough in the universe to know things change. Each decision has a ripple effect or action, so to plan to far ahead could lead to disappointment. In New Zealand, the weather was a big dictator to our plans and we changed our plans to maximise great weather. In Japan the proximity to easy transport option took us on a unplanned 2 day adventure to Hiroshima.
