NZ DAY 21
A Zero day in Waipo
Another week on the trai,l 21 days on the road currently sitting at 407km mark. Already I am noticing change both physically and in my thoughts. Life is both slowing down and speeding up. My thoughts are definitely slowing down and becoming less erratic. Time seems to be speeding up with the last 21 days just flying past. Physically I have lost about 4kg my legs are stronger and I think the tension has finally eased in my shoulders. David has kicked back a couple of gears and it is really nice to see him smiling more than frowning. Finally got to update the blog today and sent out another newsletter, we have to get better and updating this and keeping friends and family updated. Spent the afternoon relaxing with the Hannah, Georgia and Tim in the beer garden.
HIGHLIGHT: Doing nothing all afternoon and getting the newsletter completed.
LOWLIGHT: Looking at the budget, need to rain in the extra spending
Grateful for great internet access to be able to upload the blog. Grateful for the delish breakfast this morning and running into Mr Mrs Jones.
Story: Mr & Mrs Jones are a couple we met on day 2 and they were very well decked out with gear, David and I where little envious. They also were very fast walkers, so we trailed named them "The Jones" as in keeping up with the Jones.
