Oh what a difference a day makes. After yesterdays drizzly rain day today was a brilliant blue sky and sun day. Retracing are steps back up the coast, we got to see just how gorgeous Cape Ashizuri is, although they say that the craggy, grey cliffs lure people over the edge with there beauty.
Our accommodation tonight is a lovely little guest house called Lodge Camillia, it is really nice except they booked us into 3 seperate rooms, so The Spunky Rooster and I slept in different rooms.
Along many of the roads we have walked are hydrangeas and they vary in colour from white to a reddy pink to deep purple. The colour is dependant on the ph of the soil. Just like us their appearance changes depending on the environment they live in and the food that they eat. I know of a lot of people that are constantly not feeling “well” yet have nothing physically wrong with them. However, they live in an environment that is not good for them. They surround themselves with people that don’t support them, or they go to work at a job they don’t like, or they constantly compare themselves to others, all situations that is “acidic” to their well being. Then because they are feeling happy they neglect themselves by not eating right, not exercising or over indulging in alcohol & drugs making them feel very unwell. So if you want to be a pretty purple hydrangea take a good look at your environment, make sure that it’s one conducive to your health and happiness.
HIGHLIGHT: Watching the surfers on the beach in the beautiful weather
LOWLIGHT: Sleeping in a room on my own
Gratitude today is for a great nights sleep, I was feeling really tired after a few nights of broken sleep, so went to bed at 6.30pm and slept all the way through to 5am. Grateful for chatting with Samantha, she can always make me smile even when I am worried about her. Grateful for the glorious sun today, although it did get a bit hot walking near the end of the day.
