NZ DAY 104
WILD WEST ROAD TRIP: Mount Cook to Queenstown 5KM (Total KM's walked 1130)
A late start today, as yesterday was a big day and we were up late getting our washing done. Stayed last night at GlenTanner camp ground a gorgeous place right on lake Pukaki with amazing views over both Mount Cook and the lake. Best hot shower around. Then it was a 4 hour drive to Queenstown the country side was spectacular. Dropped in on AJ Hackett bunny jumping for me to jump and I chicken out. All the way into Queenstown I had turmoil going around in my head.....Bungy jump has been something I always wanted to do, but I let fear stop me. This was not and is not the way I want to live. I want to challenge myself and grow. So I have booked a bunny for 9am in the morning. I will jump tommorow even if I throw up and wet my pants with fear. All it will take is 2 seconds of bravery to have a life time of bragging.
HIGHLIGHT: Drinks and UGLY Bread ( A ciabatta loaf with pumpkin chutney, garlic cheese and sour cream, YUM) at The Pub at Queenstown.
LOWLIGHT: The feeling of disappointment in myself for not jumping today
Today my gratitude has to go to The Spunky Rooster for his support today. There was no judgement about me not jumping. Always grateful for relaxing in such a gorgeous place. Grateful for chat time with Miss Samantha.
