NZ DAY 101
WILD WEST ROAD TRIP: Hokitika to Haast 10KM (Total KM's walked 1101
Loved the drive today it was very alpine. We headed of early today with the hope we would get through to Haas, we heard that the road was closed due to slip. Again the universe provided us with the way. After visiting Hokita Gorge, which was nice and in good weather would have been gorgeous, but with the wet weather it was average. We headed onto Glacier Country. Nature has stunned me yet again with its spectical. After hiking up the gorge you are met with this amazing wall of ice, which looks like a huge wave frozen in time. You feel very insignificant.
HIGHLIGHT: The glacier
LOWLIGHT: Have to say the miserable weather (grateful we can sleep in the car)
Grateful for having fun with The Spunky Rooster, we laughed so much today over....really nothing. Grateful for books, audiobooks, and blog posts that “push you to think in new ways, currently listening to Freedom from our addiction by Russell Brand. Today I am grateful that I have stillness in my life, the ability to stop and breath does amazing things to your health
